Diving at Meadfoot – July 2019

5 divers went to Meadfoot on this grey day. It was decided to dive from the slipway end of the beach. Entry into the water had to be by the steps as the slipway has been undermined, collapsed and railed off. Tells you how long ago our last trip was to this dive site.

Vis was 2-3 metres. We went out as a two and a three. It was quite kelpy until we found areas of sand. We found a clam, purple and orange starfish, scallops, sand eels, hermit crabs and small fish.

Conditions worsened at the end of the dive as the wind and swell came up.

We had picked the right time of the day to dive.
