WOW WOW WOW What an amazing dive.
We had heard that the spider crabs were in so three Tiverton divers were looking to take to the water.
Sea state was moderate with some swell. We were hoping the visibility would be reasonable.
Lots of jellyfish, lobsters, conger eel, tompot blennies, shanny,bib, wrasse, pollock, spiny lobster were on the list of sightings.
We discovered spider crabs on way out but it did not prepare us for the return trip back over the sand. The sea floor was completely covered in the moving bodies of the masses of spider crabs that lay before us. What a breathtaking sight.
