Beacon Cove – 29th June 2025

Beacon cove looked inviting this morning with the sea state nice and calm.

Two divers entered the water to discover more about this site as well as to complete some dive leader training.

We completed the module as planned on the sandy bottom then continued with the dive.

All the crabs showed their faces, well claws, Velvet, edible and spider.

A juvenile dole sole frightened one of the divers when they put their hand down and it wriggled off.  A little scream could be heard underwater.

A variety of spurts and sponges were discovered on the rocky outcrops.

A successful dive and another lesson ticked off.
