2022 has arrived and the first dive of the year and a what a fabulous 41 minute dive it was.
Just two members of the club dived today and we have Babbacombe Bay to ourselves. The sun was shining when we entered the water but it was drizzling when we came out. This could not dampen our enthusiasm for the dive.
The crustaceans had come out to play. Lobsters large and small, edible crabs, velvet swimming crabs, masked crabs and squat lobsters everywhere you looked, scuttling back into hiding as you approached. A conger eel was hiding under one of the large rocks.
What a wonderful start to the year.
